1.Budding is a form of asexual reproduction that results from the outgrowth of a part of the body leading to a separation of the “bud” from the original organism and the formation of two individuals, one smaller than the other.
2.Bacteria, yeast, corals, flatworms, Jellyfish, and sea anemones are several animal species which reproduce through budding.
3.In the adult, or medusa, stage of a jellyfish, they can reproduce sexually by releasing sperm and eggs into the water, forming a planula.
