decantation method.

There are 4 types of ways or techniques in separating mixtures.
Decantation- it is the separation of liquids by pouring the less-dense liquid.it is separated from the dense liquid without disturbing it. Ex. Water and oil
Sieving- it is the process of separating solids from one another Ex. separating sand from seeds using a strainer.
Filtering- it is separating liquid from solid materials using a filter Ex. putting a filter in the basin to separate dirt from the water.
Magnetism- it is the the process of separating metal materials from non-metal materials without touching it. Ex. sand and nails
