I have a 1993 Jimmy with a digital dashboard and it's only displaying partially, i can see the speedometer and the turn signals just fine, and when it does a self test when started the service, brights indicator, and e-brake indicators all show up fine. However, my gas gauge, oil pressure, and temperature lights do not display. Also, within the last week my door/ignition buzzer has stopped working, and whenever i turn my lights on my speedometer display goes out, but when i turn them off it comes back up. Im worried that my heater may be going out as well because now whenever i try to turn it on, it usually takes 10-15 minutes to finally kick on (not blow hot air, actually kick on) and it didn't at all today...i'm in Alaska, so i definitely will need the heater D: to me it seems like an electrical problem, but i've been told it could just be fuses, but i haven't been able to find a wiring diagram of the fusebox or a description of what those fuses are for. I would really appreciate some help here. Thanks.

1993 GMC Jimmy digital dash fuse problem?
Verified answer
Those digital displays are a nightmare. Mine will work sometimes if you smack it on the top. It's all sealed. You can order a rebuilt one online, probably around $150. It's the whole gauge cluster unit. You can take it apart and clean contacts and replace fuses all day long but it won't help. Been there..
As far as the heater goes, mine works intermittently. But I've never checked into it.

here is a great site which I found very helpful. ANY diagram costs only $5 and the service is awesome. What I liked about it the most was it was so easy to navigate through and I didn't have to search page after pager like I did when I was going to forums. http://www.bluestarwiringdiagrams.com/
