Answer:
1. Menstrual flow might occur every 21 to 35 days and last two to seven days.
2. The ovulation can be defined as the process that occurs around before day 14 and may be later. In this process an egg is released by one of the female ovaries. Sometimes two eggs may also get released. The level of leutinizing hormone rises this triggers the events that take place in the follicle. The leutinizing hormone makes the follicle fully mature and releases for fertilization.
3. During ovulation, the egg bursts from its follicle, but the ruptured follicle stays on the surface of the ovary. For the next two weeks or so, the follicle transforms into a structure known as the corpus luteum. This structure starts releasing progesterone, along with small amounts of oestrogen.
4. The egg takes several days to travel down the fallopian tube into the uterus. After it is in the uterus, a fertilized egg usually attaches to (implants in) the lining of the uterus (endometrium).
