Answer:
1. Simplicity
2. Originality
3. Versatility
4. Scalability
5. Balance & proportion
6. Timelessness
Explanation:
1. What is Simplicity?
Simplicity is what allows a logo to withstand the test of time and makes it repeatable and easy to work with.
2. What is Originality?
Consider all of the memorable logos you have stored in your mind: Starbucks, UPS, and Apple are at the top of the list. Perhaps we remember them because we see them all the time, but it's also because they're unique and memorable.
3. What is Versality?
Your logo has a significant role to play. It will be printed on all of your products, store signs, digital advertisements, and much more (think t-shirts and bumper stickers!). As a result, your logo must be dynamic and adaptive to land wherever.
4. What is Scalability?
Similarly, your logo should be scalable to any size. Can it be printed on a huge billboard and a little pen? Returning to the adaptation concept, we know that your logo should be scalable in order to represent your business wherever.
5. What is Balance and Proportion?
Humans find balanced designs to be beautiful. A well-balanced design will establish a balance between the many components that comprise your logo.
6. What is Timelessness?
A timeless logo will look just as beautiful 10 years from now as it does now. When developing your logo, avoid succumbing to passing trends and instead opt for a traditional appearance. Psychedelic 70s-inspired logos may be popular in your business today, but they may be obsolete in a year.
