For the final output of our Rizal class, my group decided to make a magazine about Rizal’s life through poetry and letters. For our last article, we were hoping to make it about Rizal’s legacy. To be consistent with the rest of the magazine, we were trying to look for a poem that is either dedicated to Rizal or about Rizal. We tried looking for some, but we couldn’t find one made by a well-established writer or someone who knew Rizal when he was alive. I’m starting to think we might be going about the search the wrong way. Most searches come up with results that show Rizal’s own poems instead of poems written by other people.
I know this is a long shot, but do you guys know if such a poem exist? If it can’t be from an established writer or from someone who knew him, we’re willing to work with a well-written poem or maybe one that is commonly thought at schools.
Any help would be very much appreciated!
