Salubong
"Salubong" (English translation: welcoming or to welcome) is an Easter Sunday pre-dawn ritual or ceremony that reenacts the Risen Christ's meeting with His mother. The "early morning procession" celebrates Jesus' resurrection. This tradition is held every Easter Sunday all over the country.
