ace resi Ehment Activity 2: Explain the following advantages and disadvantages of using series and parallel connections in homes. Write only your answer.
1.) Why do you think there is no need to use expensive, thick wires when using a series connection?
2.) When using parallel connection, why do you think that all other light bulbs will still function even if one of the light bulbs is damaged?
3.)What you add more light bulbs in a series circuit why do you think the brightness of the bulbs decreased?
4.) When one of the light bulbs is damaged or removed in a series connection, why do you think all other light bulbs in the circuit will not light too?
5.)When using parallel connection, why do you think overloading may happen if appliances are simultaneously used SO at home?
pasagot napo ng tama bukas napo kasi yung pasahan eh thank you po.

Answer:
1.the amount of current in a circuit with two loads is higher than the amount of current in a circuit with more than two loads. Meaning, the more loads connected in series circuit the amount of current reduces. ... Since series circuit is less likely to overheat, there is no need to use expensive, thick wires.
2.One bulb burning out in a series circuit breaks the circuit. In parallel circuits, each light has its own circuit, so all but one light could be burned out, and the last one will still function.
3.Brightness will decrease through each bulb because when a bulb is added in series overall circuit resistance increases hence current through circuit decreases ,as bulbs are in series circuit current is also the current through each bulb ,the current through each bulb decreases.
4.every device in a series circuit must work properly for the circuit to be complete. Unlike in a parallel circuit - where each light has its own circuit - so even if one bulb burns out, the remaining bulbs will still function.
