Answer:
A piece of fruit enters the digestive system through the mouth where it undergoes physical digestion where it is cut into smaller pieces by chewing, from the mouth it is then swallowed and passes through the esophagus in order to enter the stomach, amd when it is in the stomach it is acted upon by gastric juice for further digestion through chemical process, then it enters the small intestine where there is further chemical digestion with the aid of intestinal juice and when the fruit is fully digested the products of digestion is then absorbed bybthe eall of small intestine and those undigested particles are then passed to the large intestine where water is absorbed together with the minerals present and the waste are then released from the body through the anal opening.
