Here are two sources for you. The first is a page of links and addresses for various archery organizations:

This is a list of some groups in the Society for Creative Anachronisms, Inc.:
http://www.atlantia.sca.org/groups.php
Find the group nearest to your location, click on the link for that group (where there is one) and look for "Archery Marshal", or something similar, under the heading "Officers". As an example, the D.C. area is a part of "The Barony of Storvik"

The SCA is an International, not-for-profit Mediaeval Re-Enactment/Re-Creation Educational and Research Society which includes archery in its activities. There are only two requirements for attending Official SCA activities: An attempt at "Mediaeval-style" clothing and the paying of a nominal fee for the use of the activity site (where applicable); there is no requirement to pay for membership in the Society. For what should be obvious reasons, "Mediaeval-style" clothing is not required at informal archery practices.
I hope these links help you in finding what you have been searching for. :-)

If you're looking for a more structured archery program, look here

go under the Directory Search and pick your state
USA Archery is the website for the NAA(National Archery Association). They're the national governing body for the sport of archery in the US. Programs under the NAA will usually teach you target archery. But those clubs listed on the webpage will likely have instructors for other types of archery as well.
If you like to compete, the NAA can take you all the way to the Olympics if you have the drive and talent.
