It depends. If the rings and necklaces that you are referring to is an archaeological piece or ornaments from the past then it is indeed called an artifact. But, if the jewelry that you mentioned are "Present time creations" or things that were created using technology, then I believe it is called a conventional jewelry. In which terms, the jewelry that we now wear, that wasn't made in the late BC's or AD's.
