Answer:
You can’t.
As a ‘student’ you are in LEARNING mode. Study what you have gone on to Higher Education for. If you have decided on attendance at Uni.
If you are in High School, concentrate on getting into a University if you desire and can handle the academic rigor needed to succeed in your major.
“Contributing to solving national/global health problems” is presumptuous, arrogant, and way beyond your abilities.
If you want to do something while in High School, to help reduce the pain and suffering of those in chronic ill health, start in your town, city, or neighborhood. If you can’t do anything about their health problems, it makes little sense to try and tackle Global ones.
If you are a brilliant student, focus on the Sciences in Uni, with Epidemiology, Public Health Majors and taking up to Masters and Ph.D. levels. By that time you will be in your late twenties and winding down your “Student” status to begin making contributions in one or several aspects of global health issues.
Explanation:
So in short, As an individual, there is nothing I can do to solve other people’s health problems or any other problems.
Half the time I try to help another person, their problem gets worse. If your experience is different than mine, good for you. Have at it.
- I can deal with the help problems in my own life, and encourage those with whom I influence to take care of their health problems. But it’s not my job to solve global health problems tho.
Just my opinion
