I've been trying to find a sewing machine that's new here in the Philippines and this is the only one that I've found that's on my budget.
I read somewhere that they are not good with denim. Is it a good machine?

I've never had much luck with Brothers. Any chance of a Janome or Juki? Those are the two brands I usually suggest for new and tight budget here in the US. But generally, on the low end of the sewing machine price ranges for new machines, you'll get a far better machine from buying used than new.

If you can not follow the directions, I don't think any written out here differently will help. You need someone to show you how to do it. If you know anyone who does sew they should be able to help you figure this out in person. I looked at the manual on line. Just try to take it one step at a time. try not to be overwhelmed by all the steps
