Absolutely. The most texts I get are from Orange telling me I haven't topped up this month! I am of a generation that had to ask to use the phone, so I never got into the habit of spending hours phoning or texting. It can be useful to have one, but before mobiles were popular, we still managed to meet friends and have a social life.
Yes. Easily. I hardly use mine. For one thing half the time I do not hear it so people were fed up of trying to contact me. The other thing is I forget to charge it up. Then I forget to take it with me.

Yes I'm forever forgetting to charge it then losing it round the house somewhere so I think probably my life would be easier without it, no more hunting for the flippin thing!
