Main Character's Traits
Romeo
Romeo is impulsive and immature. In Act 3 scene 1, he gets angry at Tybalt for killing Mercutio, and before he realizes that he will get banished and may never see Juliet again, he kills Tybalt.
Romeo is more interested in love than the fued between both households. Throughout the whole book, his mouths speak of sweet and passionate words but not anger and fighting words. Only when Romeo rages about his bestfriend, Mercutio, dying is when he truly fights.
Juliet
Juliet shows bravery in trusting and dedicating her life and her future to Romeo even though he murdered her cousin. This is shown in Act 4 scene 3 when she starts feeling regret for going along with their plan but instead she risks her life and future just to be with Romeo, her love.
Juliet is a naive child. In Act 1 scene 5, she acts little to the thought of marriage and love. Then later in the story, she ends up falling deeply and madly in love with Romeo of the opposing household.
