Answer:
1.Carnatic Music
Like all art forms in Indian culture, Indian classical music is believed to be a divine art form which originated from the Devas and Devis (Hindu Gods and Goddesses),[9][10] and is venerated as symbolic of nāda brāhman.[11] Ancient treatises also describe the connection of the origin of the swaras, or notes, to the sounds of animals and birds and man's effort to simulate these sounds through a keen sense of observation and perception.
2.Hindustani Music
Hindustani music, one of the two principal types of South Asian classical music, found mainly in the northern three-fourths of the subcontinent, where Indo-Aryan languages are spoken. (The other principal type, Karnatak music, is found in the Dravidian-speaking region of southern India.) The two systems diverged gradually, beginning in the 13th century, when the Islamic conquest of northern parts of the subcontinent introduced highly influential Arab and Persian musical practices that then merged with Hindu traditions.
3.Punjabi Music
Punjab has folk songs on birth, marriage, funeral, death, love, separation, beauty, social and economical status, village lifestyle, food, nature, bravery, folklores and folktales, folk romances, folk and historical heroes, festivals and many more.[2] The songs of professional castes of Punjab are also included in the folk songs.
4.Arabic Music
Arabic music isn't like Western music (it isn't like Turkish or Persian music either – but that's another story). The Arabic music we use for dance often has Western influences. The following are notes on classical Arabic music.
