The pharynx is the tube that connects the mouth and nasal passages with the trachea and with the esophagus. On the contrary, the larynx, which is also called the voice box, is the upper part of the trachea that contains the vocal cords.
In my own simple terms, the Larynx can be found only in the respiratory system while pharynx can be in both the respiratory and digestive system.
Answer:
Differences Of Pharynx and Larynx :
The pharynx is the part of the throat that connects the nose and mouth to the larynx and esophagus while Larynx is the part of the throat that houses the lower respiratory passages such as bronchi, trachea and lungs. Larynx also houses the vocal cords and is one of the most important organs in the human body for singing and breathing.
Similarities Of Pharynx and
Larynx :
The Pharynx and Larynx are two parts of the human throat. Both contain tightly clustered vocal cords which stretch out to aid in voice production or vibration. They are connected by a passageway known as the glottis, which is part of the vocal cords.
