A friend of mine was telling me about how she was reading about how some scientists think that cell phones cause cancer and other problems like that and it made me worry... while I don't really use my cell-phone a lot I do tend to use my household cordless phone a lot... is one worse than the other? Or should I just not really worry about it at all?

Do Cordless Phones Cause Cancer?
Verified answer
There is no reason to assume that any kind of phone would cause cancer or affect your chances of developing cancer in anyway. The only possible culprit for such might be a cell battery, which is completely harmless if it isn't ruptured or in direct contact with your body (even then, the chances of one giving you cancer are probably too insignificant to warrant serious research)
I remember seeing an article in a magazine, in the early 1990's when cell phones were becoming popular. These were the kind that had a semblance to being a thick household cordless phone, with a thick (but not long) antenna, and the magazine suggested making a shield out of cardboard covered with aluminum foil, to protect from any radiation. I would gather, then, that there could be some risk of cancer from a cordless phone. I also saw a report on TV suggesting that on cell phones with retracting antennae, they be extended all the way out, as a safeguard, so if your cordless has this kind of antenna, pull it out to its limit. Magazine may have been Family Circle or Woman's Day.
yes, because the radiation is bad to body, so you'd better use the phone less. keep the phone far away, but keep you can hear it. and it's better to answer it by left ear.
according to the scientist, if you keep hear the phone by right, that heart your head very much, later and later that would be cause cancer.
I dont think cordless phones cause cancer and they say so many things cause cancer. they have no clue what really causes cancer.
theres a more recent study saying the radiation prevents Alzheimer
