If they are in fact the souls of the dearly departed then they would of course have the same feelings that we all have. ~M~
Ghosts and spirits have feelings, although different from those of humans. They have all the same emotions, such as happiness and sadness, but they also feel things that we normally think of as physical. The way they are tired does not refer to fatigue, but to almost a combination of sadness and frustration. A ghost or spirit that is cold is lonely and detached, while one that is warm is connected.
The Bible tells me God is a spirit, and it also mentions him as being happy, rejoicing, loving, angry, sad, etc.
Satan is an evil spirit and he is mentioned as being envious and filled with malice (malicious) so from these examples, I'd say absolutely.
Can we always tell what spirits are feeling? Probably not. I'd figure they can hide their feelings, just as humans can at times disguise their feelings.
Is it important that we understand their feelings? Sometimes it can be, at which time you'd better pray for Jesus to help you understand and react accordingly.
Yes.
