I've found out that milk that contains carageenan causes mucus build up. (I say this under correction)
But with my personal experience the brand SILK causes more mucus production than the other kinds like WEST SOY or PACIFIC SOY, etc...
It's a myth that cow's milk (dairy) causes more mucus or thicker mucus.
It certain individuals it does have that affect. If this is the case, one can easily switch to rice or almond milk. Recipes for the such are very simple if you wish not to buy and can be found, easily, on the internet. When in doubt, call upon the Lord and He will supply your every neccessity. If you ask that which is according to His will, He will provide it.
what kind of mucus, the kind in your intestines or your general body. In your body no. Only milk does that. My husband was able to quite his asthma medications after giving up milk. Intestinal mucus, called mucusoid plaque, i don't know about, but I don't think so.
No. But cow milk does.
probably. I'd check to see if that soy was genetically modified
Not unless you are allergic to an ingredient
