the formula of getting the area of a circle is
in order to get the radius, you have to divide the diameter in 2.
diameter= 40
radius = 20
pi is equivalent to 3.14
A= pi(r²)
A = 3.14 (20²)
A = 3.14 (400)
A = 1,256m²
therefore the area of the playground is 1,256m²
