In Excel for the web, you can't alter the default font for a whole workbook, but you can change the font style and size for a worksheet.
Excel uses the Calibri font style in size11 when you input data in a worksheet, but if you prefer a different font style or size, here's how to alter it.
Choose the cell or cell range in which you want to format the text or number.
Select a different font by clicking the arrow next to Font.
To alter the font size, select the desired size by clicking the arrow adjacent to the default Font Size.
We've modified the font style to Century and the size to 9 in the sample below.
if you choose a larger font size, the height of the row is automatically made taller.
