When I read the bible or any bible passages, I think about how the scenario happens first, then contemplate the next.
First of all, I feel really good reading about it, because as an asian, with both strict and religious parents, I'm bound to be more "religious" than most. And it mostly impacts on how I view otherworldly things or people, like god, jesus and his angel. I'm like, "woah, there mindsets are really different from us, mortals."
However, this, is where the doubts sinks in. And they're like the devil trying to lure me. I think about how they, the "celestial beings" are so one dimensional, like characters of an amateur author. It's so unfair how the bible only gives us a perspective that only hints who's bad and good , not even showing us what drove satan to revolt back and want to reign souverinity. Sure, you can say that, "well, that's because he wants to act like god" or "its only natural to feel jealous and envious".
This though, does not answer why he would do it or why he would want to do it in depth.
