Just wondering if the store is any good with selling puppies. Im pretty sure that their puppies are not from puppy mills because
1. On a forum, someone was asking this question because they had 3 puppies for sale and dreamy puppies wanted to buy them from her/him. She/he asked if the store was any good and should she sell her puppies to them.
2. On their website, their puppies looked completely healthy. And if they did get them from puppy mills, then they would have a lot more and faster. They probally only got 5 puppies in the last 5 months.
Anyone know anything about this store???? Anything would be appreciated!!!

Yea,
I have heard of dream puppy in chantilly va.
We bought our cute lil long haired chihuahua there.
He came with all of his shots. Its a great place to go, but if you really like the dog once you see it you BETTER buy it because if you come back another day it will BE GONE.
The owners are great!!!
I really suggest the place. Its also a lot cheaper then other pet places.
They sell all types of dogs, I would suggest to call before hand if you are very particular...
Once again its a great place to buy puppies. They only sell puppies...
Hope this helped...

Puppy Stores In Va
You really should have a look at these websites.
stoppuppymills.org, saynotopetstorepuppies.com, millbusters.com
All pet store puppies come from these places, and each puppy purchase further sentences the parents to hell. Many people don't know this, and no pet store will ever admit to it. They'll say their puppies come from breeders, which while true, those breeders run puppy mills. The parents don't see a vet, the puppies are whelped by less than healthy parents and whelped in unsanitary conditions, etc.
Edit: If they only got 5 puppies in the last 5 months, that means puppies aren't selling and the business would be shut down. Their website is deceiving. The puppies look healthy because they've been given a bath and brushed.
Edit: There are plenty of puppies available at shelters that come already spayed or neutered. They are UTD on all vaccinations, and are under the watchful eyes of veterinarians. And much cheaper. Go to petfinder.com
Aren they SELLING puppies? Then, they are buying either from puppy mills or backyard breeders.
See, breeders for each and every breed have a code of ethics that's set forth from the national breed club. This Code of Ethics usually includes that their puppies CANNOT be sold to any sort of broker or pet shop.
So, this only leaves unethical breeders that the pups come from.
If you are looking for a puppy, then pick a breed and contact the breed club to help you find a responsible breeder.
So, if you want a chihuahua, you'd look at the http://www.chihuahuacluboramerica.com/ website.
Also, spend some time on http://www.pbrc.net/breeding3.html and http://dogplay.com/Breeding/ethics.html to learn about responsible breeding.
Added: I just did a search for this store on the Internet on thye slim chance that they are doing adopt-a-dog things. You know what came up? They are on the Hall Of Shame list on petstorecruelty.com. http://www.petstorecruelty.org/hallofshame.html
The Dreamy Pet website? Disgusting. Cockapoo? Chi-poo? Teddy Bear? The purebred dogs they show look miserable and so far outside of what the breed should look like that it's literally making me ill.
It's a store that sells dogs from Puppy Mills. Horrible place that should be shut down.
NO good breeder sells to pet stores, it may not be puppy mills but a responsible breeder ALWAYS wants to know exactly where their puppies are! No pet store selling dogs can possibly be responsible because it all goes against responsible pet ownership! They would have to get them from shelters and screen homes for it to be anything remotely near responsible.
"Looking" healthy, especially in a picture, means nothing.
Go to a shelter or responsilbe breeder!
They are not a good place to buy puppies from.
NO reputable breeder will sell their pups to a petshop! Petshops mostly obtain from millers (even if they say that they dont.. no petshop will admit to it!).. or they buy from back yard breeders who are looking to sell their pups quick. How do you know they only get 5 puppies in the last 5 months?
Of course the puppies look healthy.. they pump them full of wormers and antibiotics before they sell them. Puppy mill puppies LOOK healthy.. did you know parvo incubates up to 10 days in a puppy's system? Many genetic diseases cannot be checked until a dog is at least 2 years of age.. so you dont know if there's a possability of hip displasia, luxating patella, etc.
A reputable breeder will want to screen each home she sells her pups to, she will want to know where her pups are going.. a good breeder NEVER sells to a petshop.
ADDED
Um, from looking at their website.. I see way more than 5 puppies.. yes, they get from a puppy mill.. how else would they have so many different breeds available?
http://www.dreamypuppy.com/health.html
Also they only mention bordatella vaccine.. where's the parvo/distemper vaccination?
They are wormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks.. I dont know any good breeder who worms their pups that much..
They do also give antibiotics like I said.. this is to put off the infections that they are exposed to. A HEALTHY puppy does not need to be given antibiotics!
Guarantee is good for infectious disease for only up to 4 days.. many diseases incubate up to 10-14 days.
Genetic diseases are only guaranteed for a year.. you cant test a dog for genetic disease until 2 years of age. They also only guarantee hips, eyes and heart.. never mind that most of the puppies are small breeds and are prone to luxating patella.

http://blog.humanesociety.org/wayne/2014/11/virgin... Beware of Dreamy Puppies! They obtain these puppies from puppy mills! No reputable breeder would sell puppies in such a fashion, nor would they ship them anywhere! Please avoid those who line their pockets on the misery of the helpless. Adoption and rescue are your best options. If you cannot do do, please obtain your puppy through your local breeders, a place with nothing to hide; a place you may tour in its entirety.
