Answer:
These are the words of Apostle Paul about Jesus Christ in his letter
to Philippians.
"And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became
obedient unto death even the death of the cross." (Philippians 2:8)
Explanation:
"being found in fashion as a man" Apostle Paul talks about the incarnation
of Jesus Christ from being equal to God to his human form (Phil 2:6).
Just like what John said, the Word became flesh which is Jesus Christ. (John 1:14)
"he humbled himself" - Jesus Christ although one of the Godhead, became a man and took the form of a servant and made in the likeness of men. He lowered Himself and served the people. (Phil. 2:7)
"and became obedient unto death" - Jesus Christ became obedient to His Father . He obeys His earthly parents, and also obedient to the law. (Luke 4:16)
"even the death of the cross" - the most painful death. Jesus Christ died
on the cross for the sin of mankind.
Conclusion: Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, one of the Godhead, He humbled Himself and became a man, He died on the cross to give us salvation.
