Sol'n:
5(x^2 -6x)/5 = 315/5
x^2 - 6x = 63
x^2 - 6x - 63 = 0
Use Quadratic Formula:
x= -b +- ✓b^2-4ac/2
x= -(-6) +- ✓(-6)^2-4(1)(-63)/2(1)
x= 6 +- ✓36+252/2
x= 3 +- ✓288
x= 3+- ✓144*2
x= 3 +- 12✓2
x1= 3+12✓2
x2= 3-12✓2
B. It's easy to use the Quadratic Formula to find the roots because just like this problem, it is not exact numbers and you cannot find this kind of roots to other ways like factoring.
