i follow the same steps i read and I do not see "cancel subscription" anywhere after i click zune pass. all i see is upgrade and there is a cancel button at the bottom but it is only to cancel the upgrade and to get out of that page. how can i cancel my subscription?

I don't know what steps you read but this is what Microsoft says to do:
To cancel a Zune Pass subscription, access your Zune account on the Zune.net Web site. To do this, follow these steps:
Visit the following Zune Web site:
http://www.zune.net/
Click Sign In, and then sign in to your Zune account.
Under your Zune tag, click My Account. The My Account page appears.
In the Zune Pass and Microsoft Points section of the page, click Zune Pass.
Click Cancel subscription, and then click Next to continue the cancellation process.
Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current subscription period. This cancellation will appear in your account summary the day after the current subscription period ends.
If that doesn't work then contact them directly.
