I assume you want to still be able to play all of the files? I doubt you have any .wav music files, because that's just stupid. Right now you either have MP3s or stupid AAC files from itunes. I suggest you download a program called foobar2000 and use it to convert all of your music to MP3 at a V2 variable bitrate. This way you will still have decent quality but it will reduce the file size to something more manageable.
In Windows media player, there is a way to convert your music to different file types. You probably have wav files. Convert your wav files to mp3 files. Mp3 file use much less space. Or you can burn all of your music to disc and save it that way instead of on your pc
Try MP3Lingo.com. They offer unlimited music downloads and you don't have to pay for each song you download like iTunes, just a very low monthly fee. They have fast download speeds and great customer support, check them out at www.mp3lingo.com when you get a chance.
