1. Convert both mixed fractions to improper fractions.
2. Invert the second improper fraction by swapping the numerator and denominator.
3. Multiply the first improper fraction by the inverted second improper fraction.
4. Simplify the resulting improper fraction, if possible.
5. Convert the simplified improper fraction back into a mixed fraction, if necessary.
Here is an example:
(3 1/4) ÷ (2 2/3)
Step 1: Convert both mixed fractions to improper fractions.
(3 1/4) becomes (13/4)
(2 2/3) becomes (8/3)
Step 2: Invert the second improper fraction by swapping the numerator and denominator.
(8/3) becomes (3/8)

(13/4) x (3/8) = (39/32)
Step 4: Simplify the resulting improper fraction, if possible.
39 and 32 have no common factors other than 1, so the fraction is already in simplest form.

(39/32) can be written as (1 7/32), so the final answer is:
