I noticed that my husband's left testicle hangs down lower than his right one. I wonder if he is abnormal or if this is the way all testicles are? I hope your answers are on the "ball"!

Is it normal for a man's left testicle to hang lower than his right one?
Verified answer
If he's right handed, then your husband's scrotum is most likely normal.
It has been noted for centuries that the left hangs lower than the right in most men. In fact, look at nude statues from long ago. Most are either equal or like your husband's.
Curiously, it seems to be related to handedness. The right testicle sits higher than the left in those who are right handed. Hmm...
There was actually an article about that very subject published in the Journal of Anatomy in 1960 by an anatomist named Chang.
I'm left handed and yep, the left sits higher.
But then, I suppose that's probably more than you really wanted to know.
I'll stop now.
It is actually true, according to my urologist. Most often the left testicle is larger or hangs lower than the right. Just be careful how you handle them!
Completely Normal...
YES it is a normal abnormality.
The length of the holding structures of the testis ( spermatic cord etc.) can be longer on one side or the other.
Nature did not use a Vernier scale here !
Please, stop always tugging on the the left testicle . Give the other one a chance, so that they can hang in unison ;-)
Think about it....are your breasts perfectly symmetrical? Chances are they're not. Nothing on the human body is even- that's why we're perfect!
there is no normal way for testes to hand, they hang at different lengths so they dont squash i guess. there isnt much space for them to hang side by side really...
Suck on the right one for a few weeks. Then they should be even.
I'm not sure, it the same way with me too. (Maybe because I Had to get surgery)
yes
