1.Chordophone
The term chordophones is generally used to classify musical instruments that produce sound by way of vibrating strings, that can be plucked by a plectrum, rubbed by a bow or played by hand.
2.Idiophone
The most common are struck idiophones, or concussion idiophones, which are made to vibrate by being struck, either directly with a stick or hand (like the wood block, singing bowl, steel tongue drum, triangle or marimba) or indirectly, with scraping or shaking motions (like maracas or flexatone).
3.Idiophone
Idiophones are instruments that create sound through vibrating themselves. They differ from chordophones and membranophones because the vibrating is not the result of strings or membranes.
4.Membranenophone
Membranophone, any of a class of musical instruments in which a stretched membrane vibrates to produce sound.
5.Electrophone
It has four strings and it's played by plucking with the fingers or thumb. It has the same pitch and tuning as the double bass.
