-Listen to the radio for updates
-Follow warnings and instructions from the authorities
-Store enough food,water and medicine.
-Evacuate quickly to a safer place.
During:
-Get away from power lines,posts,walls and other structures.
-Stay away from buildings especially those with glass panes.
-When driving,do not cross bridges or
overpasses
-If you are along the shore and you feel a very strong earthquake enough to make standing difficult,run away from the shore,a tsunami might be triggered.
After:
-Wait for the instructions from authorized government agencies as to when it is safe to return home.
-Make necessary repairs and clean up of houses hit by ashfall.

-Carry out a regular earthquake drill
-Familiarize yourself eith safe exits in any building you stay in
-Keep flammable materials in a safe place
-Prepare your "TO GO BAG" with the following important things inside:flashlight,food,medicine,water,and important documents.

-keep calm
-Stay away from stairs or elevators
-Avoid tushing to exits when inside a threater or any crowded place.
-Stay away from cliffs,step slopes,power lines and big trees
After:
-Stay away from condemned buildings or those with cracks
-Avoid touching live electric wires or fallen posts
-listen to the radio for updates
