I want to buy some great tickets for my husband's birthday, however I know nothing about baseball. Can you tell me which section is good? I want to spend around $150-$200 a ticket. He always talks about field seats, how expensive can it be? Is Metro Club/Home plate good?

You don't need $150-200 per ticket.Actually the most expensive tickets the Mets sell is $117 for the Inner Loge Box. An outer field box would be perfect (that is field level in right field). It will run you $74 per ticket (for platinum). The Inner Field box is nice also. Sitauated a touch further back from the field but closer to the infield. That would be $109. Just click on the link that I provided and then click on which section you are interested in. It will then show you a photo of what it would look like if you were sitting there (the views basically).
I don't think you can order the metro club tickets for individual games. Either that or they are all sold out.
I agree with Fire Tim McCarver except you are not going to be able to get Field Level tickets through mets.com for anymore games this season. Basically, everything field level wise is sold out for the rest of the season through mets.com
You're gonna have to use stubhub in order to get field level tickets. You're probably going to pay more than you would pay at mets.com.
If you know which game you want to go to, click on my profile and email me if you want and I'll help you pick out good tickets at a decent price.
The be conscious "extra suitable" would not enter into this equation. they're both so very diverse, as they're actually and as they are going to be upon of completion. The Yankees have taken distinctive of the nostalgic factors of yank Stadium and in high-quality condition them into the structure that the stadium will be new and larger yet will nevertheless be established to followers who love the former stadium. Mets Stadium, on the different hand, will look very diverse than their previous stadium and that is' a good element, in my estimation. It feels like it going to an excellent piece of structure in a large putting. once back, the layout will be a sparkling one yet not as appreciably new as they equipped in the early 60's. i quite trust they're both going to be wonderful yet for diverse causes.
