EDIT: Try the DEL key. If that does not work then you will have to open it up and remove the CMOS battery, that will reset the CMOS back to factory settings.
EDIT2: I can not find any instruction on how to change the CMOS battery for a K24J or even a battery for it.. I did find the CMOS battery for K42. See link below. You can find these at other online stores. Taking apart a lappy to change the CMOS battery requires some experience and a great deal of patience.

The link below shows the different BIOS menu FN keys.

You might want to try this, its for when a lappy is totally dead but might work in this case.
Make sure you have nothing plugged into the USB ports or a DVD/CD in the player.
Try this
1. Unplug AC adapter from laptop.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Press and hold the power on button for 1 full minute.
Yes, many machines only require 10 or 15 seconds but this reset instruction is generic and I have found people hold the button for 9 or 14 seconds so let's write the full minute.
4. Let go of the power on button.
5. Slip in the battery pack.
6. Plug in the power to the laptop and to the wall.
7. Do not plug in any other devices.
Try the power on button!
If that does not work try it again without putting the battery back in.

Press and hold the power key until it shuts down. Press the power button and reenter the BIOS menu and look for the boot sequence. Check and see if you changed what drive it boots from
Go back to bios and fix it. Reset to default as a last resort.
