My sister has been plagued with hiccups that don't seem to go away. She has had them for 5 years and usually starts up when she is in school. The common cures for them don't work and she was prescribed asthma medication to see if that would help. Can anyone experience in this field help me figure out what could be the problem?

Never-ending Hiccups!?
Verified answer
She needs to go see a gastroenterologist to determine the cause for the hiccups.

Good luck!
When I have hiccups, what I do is look down while drinking water (I do this three times) all while holding my breath the entire time. After the 3rd drink, I slowly breath out through my mouth. If this doesn't work the first time, I repeat the process until my hiccups stop. I'm not sure if what I described is part of the "common cures", but this is all I know. I'd tell your sister to be careful if she tries my method. Or just to be safe, have your sister see a doctor. I hope I was helpful. Thanks.
These is caused by a combination of factors, too much yearning and too much talking, the later being the likely cause.. to cure this have her put her mouth in pig *** for 24 hours ,drink some lizard urine and aligator eyes. that should solve the problem
peanut butter... cured in a second!
