Above is the link to the mother board that I have now.
This is my Current CPU:
Pentium 4
2.40Ghz
Socket 478
Codename: Northwood
FSB: (I Think) 400Mhz
I wanted to overclock it to about 3.0GHz, if possible... but I do not know the method. I know that I am suppose to do something with the BiOS.
Please ask me if you need more information.
Update:Well SoRRY, SMARTGUY.
Yeah I guess I need to spend couple hundred bucks and buy myself a new motherboard with a Duo Core or somethin and reinstall the whole windows... right?
...and yes I do have a crappy ram.

there should be an option in the bios that allows for overclocking using the FSB, if not, then you need an updated system
you is actual no longer waiting to overclock that laptop with the unique mom board through Bios being locked by the manufacture. you will could substitute out the mum board. i used to have a P-4 stable at 3.6Ghz yet that alter into on a Gigabyte mom board. The thermal paste and the cooler will artwork purely wonderful for overclocking. i desire this helped.
Ummmmmm, dude. The BiOS has nothing to do with the processor. You can't overclock it. That's not possible, unless you've figured out a way to move electrons past the speed of light.
forget about it if you have crappy ram.
