Answer:
1. Food to eat and being awake everyday (getting food is a blessing or grace from God and being awake)
2. Over the years I’ve heard from many good people who want a closer relationship with God. But they’re stymied by what they perceive as God’s silence. What they often mean, without knowing it, is that they’d like God to do something dramatic in their lives; something with a hint of Mt. Sinai that proves his credentials.
But God typically doesn’t work that way. He’s not in the theater business. God wants to be loved and even in a sense “courted” – which means that we can’t be passive partners in the relationship. We need to pursue God as we would the persons we love.
3. Fight for Me Prayer
O Lord my God, your power endures throughout all generations. In the difficulties that I face, may I know that you go before me and fight for me. Let me rest in you while you fight my battles. Like David conquered Goliath, I call on you to defeat the giant obstacles in my life.
4. Yes
5. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
Ephesians 1:15-23
For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your lovetoward all the saints, 16 I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, 18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might 20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.
The phrase we left out last time at the end of Romans 12:12 is “Be constant in prayer.” I saved it for today because today marks the beginning of prayer week. My hope is that this message and this week will launch you into 2005 with new faith that prayer is God’s path to hope and joy and endurance and love, and with new resolve to make time to pray regularly alone and with your family and with some group of fellow believers.
6. Constant derives from Latin verb meaning "to stand with," so something constant is continually standing with you and not wavering. ... In math and science, a constant is a number that is fixed and known, unlike a variable which changes with the context. That idea crosses over to real life.
Patience is the ability to endure difficult circumstances such as perseverance in the face of delay; tolerance of provocation without responding in annoyance/anger; or forbearance when under strain, especially when faced with longer-term difficulties. Patience is the level of endurance one can have before negativity.
