1. The factors that can affect the promotion of good mental health can be your personal lifestyle like, experiences, self-esteem, attitude or your physical, social environment. These can affect you as these can whether lead to good or bad mental health based on what state the factors are in like for example, if you are being neglected, abused, feeling alone, then it would most likely lead to anxiety, depression and other illnesses which will lead to a bad mental health.
2. Situations that can cause anxiety or stress are deaths of loved ones, work/school stress, family/school/social problems and more. These can cause anxiety and stress because it is distress or "the bad kind of stress" which can lead to various mental, emotional, behavioral and physical problems.
3. The negative physical responses to our body when receiving stress for a short period of time can lead to elevated levels of blood pressure and hormones. When long-term, it can lead to hypertension, heart attack, and even stroke. The positive physical responses to our body when receiving stress is it can quicken our breathing leading to increased strength and stamina, speed up reaction time, enhance focus, and help us to become alert.
4. The people who can provide you support in stressful times are firstly, your family, tell them almost everything and they're there ready to give you the love and support that you very much need at that time. If your family is not present then you can go to your closest and most trusted friend/s especially if you're an adolescent since most are usually closer to their friends at this time. They can comfort you, talk to you and try to make you happy, make you go with them to some place fun to relieve you from your worries, offer you free food and so much more. And, lastly if they're still not present, then go to your teacher, guidance counselor, therapist or any adult that is an expert on handling these kinds of situations. They'll most likely give you advice and tips on how to cope with it and tell you that it's going to be alright.
