I recently signed up for JCP credit card and last month when the bill arrived i had already payed off the remaining balance I owed on it, and for this month I had a purchase and then payed of about 85 bucks on the new balance, but I still a little amount remaining.. Should I just wait for the bill to come or can I go ahead and pay off the remaining balance I have on my card?
I guess my main question is, Is it bad for my credit to be paying my bills and payments off early? Because anywhere I go I'm seeing that it's good and seeing it's bad and on this site I'm seeing people being thumbs downed for saying it good for your credit.
Can someone explain this to me, please?

Paying off the card before you get the statement does not help your credit/score. In fact, it's likely not being reported to the credit bureaus at all. Cards only report once a month and then only what shows at that time.
In the future, wait for the statement and pay the balance in full every month. That is the best way to handle all credit cards. You will build credit history and avoid interest. Plus, you won't accidentally overpay.

Jcp Pay Bill
Always wait for the bill to come in.
Paying before can only complicate your life and mistakes can happen.
Such as paying right before the closing date, and then ignoring a future bill in the mail.
Best: Just pay your bill in full when you get the bill in the mail.
Also know that when you pay, you agree to all the charges and cannot dispute after that.
I have also seen two people on here have their Discover account closed.
(I think they paid almost daily though).
Simply not a good idea to pay multiple times a month, or before the bill comes in the mail.
Brings no benefit of any kind to your life.
uh..Lowe's gives me 5% off for using my card. I put my purchase on the card; then walk over to customer service and pay it off.
You can walk into JCP, do a balance inquiry, and pay it off. A small unpaid balance paid early isn't going to affect your credit one way or the other.
It's NEVER a bad thing to clear debt from a credit card ASAP.
You should always wait for the statement in order to verify the balance is correct.
