[tex]\pmb{\cal{ANSWER:}}[/tex]
[tex]\blacksquare \ \ \ \boxed{\sf{4p+8}}[/tex]
[tex]\pmb{\cal{SOLUTION:}}[/tex]
Hi there, we need to solve this using the distributive property.
It tells us to multiply the term outside the parentheses to all the terms that are inside the parentheses. Let me show you what I mean!
[tex]\to\sf{4(p+2)}[/tex] is our expression
In here I multiply 4 times p and 2 --
[tex]\to\sf{4*p+4*2}[/tex]
[tex]\to\sf{4p+8}[/tex]
[tex]\therefore[/tex] The answer to the problem is 4p+8
I hope I've made the concepts clear enough for you, happy learning!
