Is it easy or hard to remove RAM and place a new one with it ?
Do i have to replace anything else or could i just take it out add a new one and im done ? and how much would it cost for highest RAM out there ? 300 dollars ?

1. removing/placing a new RAM kit is rather easy, you just need to push the white noches to the side (on the DIMM Ports), place the stick properly and push the notches back firmly so ur RAM stick has a snug fit. (refer to the motherboard manual or google for illustrated manuals/videos).
2. Well i would check the motherboard ram compability if i were you. And not all rams are the same. SD, DDR1, DDR2, DDR3 are all different types. To find out what memory module type ur motherboard supports, check the manual or google the motherboard model and find the specs for rams. and in the manual it should be written upto how much memory ur motherboard can handle. My motherboard's an ASUS P5KPL-AM and it supports 4GB DDR2 1066MHz max. and yeah be sure you got rams of same frequency.
3. there are various prices regarding memory module type, freq, memory DRAM etc. look up some good manufracturer's sites, like OCZ, Mushkin, Patriot, Corsair etc.
It's easy to remove and replace RAM, simply ensure you discharge any static on your fingers before touching the modules, otherwise you may blow the modules themselves. You can do this by touching something metal, but the best way to do it is use a static bracelet which attaches to your wrist, and the other end touches something metal. However, you can't simply decide to upgrade, as you'll be limited by your motherboard. You'll need to speak with a memory adviser as to how big you can go with your current setup (telling them the name and model of the computer you have), but RAM in the UK is cheap, and if it isn't in the US (I'd be surprised if it wasn't) then you can order across the pond. I upgraded my 1gb RAM to 2gb and it cost me £16 (approximately $24). You'll need to check to see if your motherboard RAM holders aren't full, but other than that it's easy to do, by taking the back of your computer off and looking for thin, long metal holders with processor type nodules on it, and replacing/adding to them. Be careful with removing/replacing them as they can be fragile. You don't say why you need more RAM, but I suspect that you're a gamer, but be aware that adding too much RAM may in fact slow down your system, and it might be better to get a better spec computer. RAM is nevertheless, the cheapest way to upgrade your system without spending too much money. Good luck, and have fun.
It depends on your motherboard and operating system. The RAM sticks just fit in a slot on the motherboard so swapping them out is no big deal. But, first you have to know what type, speed and capacity your motherboard will accept. An easy way is to go to Crucial.com and download their software to analyze your system. It will tell you what you need.
Also, if you are running a 32-bit operating system, putting more than 4 GB in your system is a waste. It will only recognize 3.5 GB. If you have a 64-bit system you can put in more.
Four GB of DDR2 RAM costs around $100 right now (2x2GB sticks). DDR3 costs more.
