Ok, i am going to graduate from college with a math degree, and i know that i dont really need to put my GED on my resume. However, Here is the story for my thought.
Most people despite high school dropouts. but there are a lot of people dont even have the chance to even finish middle school. I was one of these people.
I worked hard, from could not speak English and could not do simple math, to today that i am going to graduate with a math degree. So, i think this is a pretty strong reason to put my GED on the resume. Then maybe the person who is reading will curious about it and would like to see what kind of person i am.
So, what do you guys think.

Congratulations on your graduation.
You graduated Mathematics. Wonderful.
Tell the interviewer that. The final results, not your whole life story.
How you got there may not even be a question asked of you. If asked, then explain it. Very briefly.
Would be a good idea for now to polish up your English writing skills, and stop being this nervous. It shows here. Clearly.
Best wishes to you. You did very well for yourself.
by the way: No one despises anyone for trying to better himself. It shows guts and determination.

Your story is a wonderful, inspirational one. However, once you have obtained a college degree, a college degree, it is not the norm to list your GED/high school
Congratulations on the just reward you received for all your hard work!
If you just list your college degree, they will think you graduated high school. No harm, no foul. If the interviewer asks where you graduated high school, then tell him your success story. { P S I think you mean DESPISE ; also MANY is a better word choice than " a lot of ." }
