Choosing modular classes already show independence, as we don't learn things from our teachers but by reading the module. But to show further independence you can or you may ask your teachers for help. Independence doesn't really mean solely relying on yourself, but instead doing your best on your own. When asking teachers a question it shows that you are doing your best ON YOUR OWN, but still need a little help, but this isn't what we call dependence, but instead, to seek further knowledge.
