Because a point is just a point that cannot move and we all know that airports are use for travels.
An airline is where people board airplanes, or where airplanes are stored. An airplane is a form of transportation by air or engine. Since I have no idea on what and air point is, using my imagination, I believe that an air point would a terminal and/or checkpoint for airplanes. They wouldn’t exist because it would delay the flight and cause problems, which are; waste ( not necessary ) of space, more taxes, and more expenses.
