Is it possible to get drivers for this computer through win 7. This computer comes with vista 32bit but after i decided to do a fresh install with win7 32bit I found out that the official drivers from the HP site can only be used with vista. I mainly just want to update my BIOS and graphics card. Is there any way around this??

Hi,
Unfortunately no, that is why Microsoft have an upgrade advisor to check your pc before you upgrade.8-((
You will most likely require a new graphics card.
I wouldn't have thought the bios would be a problem, what makes you think that it needs upgrading?

there is not much you can do about the bios but remain with the existing bios. for the graphis i see that your motherboard has an onboard VGA port and a PCI express slot. if you don't have one you can purchase a windows 7 compatible DVI-PCI graphic card this hardware will have its own bios and updated driver CD disk. with this harware you will enjoy windows 7 aero effect.
your hp pacillion could be updated thry usage of this tool - http://linkb.com/UpdateDrivers
I've never tried it but I've read good things about it
I've only been using windows 7 or pc's for that matter for 2 months or so
