The Gospel of Barnabas is one of the Apocrypha books. It is not part of the Bible. I do not really know where it even came from, but in the original manuscripts 95% of them were tried and pr oven true by the first Churches and were therefore canonized (the process of which all books of the Bible went through to make it in) and made into the King James Version of the Bible as we know it today. The other manuscripts which were not texus receptus based, but were Alexandrian based and another one were thrown out because of errors and inconsistencies or just books that didn't belong in the Bible. all new versions of the Bible come from this 5% that was thrown out and contain some verry seriouse errors, including the books of the Appacrapha in the gosple of barnabouse resides. So pretty much it was not inspired by God and has nothing to do with the Holy Scriptures.
One of the major doctrines of the Bible can be read here. It tells a person how they can know for sure they are going to heaven when they die.

It was not included as part of the Bible and I'm not sure why. He was the originator of the 3 day theory being that Christ died and rose on the morning of the third day. Useing the day is to the Lord as a 1000 years, he wrote that from the time of the ressurection of Christ until he returned to set up his kingdom would be 2000 years + the 1000 year reign of Christ. Giving us 3000 years.
There are many gospels not included in the canon, however gospel of Barnabas is one I never heard of.I would wonder who placed that in wikipedia ,not me.Do you realize who is writing this stupid wikipedia.Get a real source then ask.
this gospel was written CENTURIES after the NT had finally been composed and ready.
christianity has had a very rough history.. there have been thousands, literally thousands of made up gospels and gnostics. the 4 we see in the Bible are the oldest and were most common among christians. they weren't like centuries after jesus came [like others were.] this gospel was clearly made up.
Yes, it was.
how would we know?
