Answer:
How to Write an Essay. Learning this process allows you to organize your thoughts and communicate them effectively. You can present your idea or argument, give evidence supporting it, and recap your findings so your conclusions stay with the reader. Once you know how to write an essay, you can use the same skills to write a speech, an article, a book…the list goes one.
How to Speak. Because of the skills I learned writing an essay, I can also write a speech. Due to delivering presentations in class and working with my teachers, I can deliver a speech at a good pace with good intonation, volume, and diction. These are important because those speech qualities entice people to listen to what you are saying.
How to Read Literature. Everything you need to know about being human and being a good person and interacting with others is in the literature that people have created. Knowledge that you need to live your life is in literature and the writings that others have compiled and published. These writers share their viewpoints and ideas with us through their writing—they’re essentially sharing their knowledge and the things they’ve learned with us. We don’t have to puzzle everything out on our own—they’ve given us CliffsNotes for life. Literature can help you reflect on your own thoughts and aspirations and help you figure out the path you need to take to attain your goals. Literature can amuse, uplift, instruct, reach you emotionally, and help you empathize with others.
