The first thing is that the water will keep boiling at 100 degrees Celsius if the water is kept being heated. This is called the Latent heat of evaporation. Latent means it is hidden. Usually if you add more heat the temperature rises. As the process continues the temperature will stay the same until all the water turns into steam. Imagine it is in a pressure pan, sealed in. The temperature of the steam will then start to rise again constantly and at a certain temperature is the steam is called Superheated steam. At even higher temperatures it becomes Supercritical steam. Steam engines used Supercritical steam is it gave the largest energy to drive the pistons at full force in the cylinders.
