Both a rhombus and a parallelogram have two pairs of parallel sides. The only difference is that a rhombus must have all sides equal.
Parallelogram (like a slanted rectangle):
.._______
./.......... /
/______/
Rhombus (like a slanted square):
..____
./..... /
/___/
Both have 4 sides.
Parallelogram has the opposite sides parallel. Think of a cardboard box with the bottom punched out, and then pushed over to one side:
._
/_/
Rhombus has all 4 sides of equal length - usually a diamond shape.
A square is both a parallelogram and a rhombus...see why?
A parallelogram is all of these:sqaure, rectangle, rhombus
It is any shape that has two pairs of sides that are parallel to each other
A rhombus: Does not have 4 right angles, all the sides are parallel
A parallelogram is a 4 sided geometric figure with opposite sides parallel say a rectangle. A rhombus is a parallelogram with sides of equal length but no right angles say a diamond. A trapezoid is a quadrilateral with no sides parallel which sort of looks like sand castle shape.
A rhombus looks something like a crudely-drawn diamond with four sides. With rhombuses, all four sides are of equal length. A rhombus is a TYPE of parallelogram. It looks, perhaps, something like this: <>
Parallelograms all have four sides, but the sides don't all have to have equal lengths. The opposite sides do have to be parallel, of course, hence the name.
hey a parralegram can have lengths as longs as ever like a rectangle
but invision a rhombus as a tilted square
All opposite sides are parallel and equal but not at 90 degrees in Parallel o gram. In rhombus two opposite sides r Parallel
parallelogram can be a sqaure,rectangle,rhombus-all sides parallel opposite
rhombus-does not have right angles,4 sides and all sides parallel
that's not what I learned in school. so you are wrong .check what you said yahoo .com.how do you draw one .tell me please and thank you if you do tell me.can you tell me. it will help me a very lot . '' with no right angle's. I would apeseate that please
