APPRXOMATING MEASUREMENTS
What have you learned about approximating measurements?
- I have learned that approximating measurements is a good guess of the exact measurement, some approximation is done without the use of the proper tool to measure a certain quantity. An approximate measure is near equal, but not exactly equal to a certain or specific measurement of the object's quantity. Approximation is done by rounding off values or using a tool that is capable of measuring but not that accurate as the exact measuring device that should be used. A good approximation must be close to the exact value at least at the nearest tenths to hundredths, at least working with a big number. Usually, approximation is done in measuring live weight of animals, volumetric quantities, and length of objects.
